Create an Account / Log In
Open the Nxcar EkTag app.
- New user? Tap Register → enter your email and password → tap Submit.
- Already registered? Enter your email + password → tap Log In.
Go to Tags Section
Once logged in, open the Tags section in the app. What you do next depends on what you bought:
- Tap Redeem and enter your bundle code
- All tags from the bundle appear automatically in your Tags section
- Tap Activate Now on each tag you want to go live
- Tap Activate Tag, enter the tag code, or simply tap the camera icon to scan the QR code for the tag you want to activate.
- You'll be taken to the activation screen to enter your tag code
Enter the Tag Code & Your Details
You'll see an activation screen — follow these steps:
- You'll see a code printed below the QR code on your tag (e.g., RTxxxxxxxxx).
- Type that code into the field.
- Fill in your details (name, phone number, etc.).
- Tap Activate.
Tag Gets Linked
The app links your tag to your account instantly.
- Check the Tags section — you'll see your activated tag there.
Assign to Your Item
Choose what you'd like to protect — your tag can go on anything:
Not ready to assign yet? No problem — you can always do it later from the Tags section.
Tag is Live
Anyone who scans the QR code on your tag will instantly reach your contact page — without needing the app and without seeing your phone number.
From now on, a finder can call you, send a message, or raise an alert — all privately and securely.
What happens when someone scans your tag?
Instant scan alert
You get a push notification + email the moment someone scans your tag.
Anonymous call
The finder can call you through the app — your number stays hidden.
Private message
The finder can send a message that lands in your dashboard inbox.
