    General

    EkTag is a universal QR-based anonymous communication platform. Attach a QR tag to anything that matters — your car, keys, luggage, pets, phone, or laptop — and anyone who finds it can reach you instantly without seeing your personal phone number.
    They land on a secure, instant page where they can send you an anonymous message or place a masked call. No app, no account, and no personal details are required from either side.
    No. The scan page works entirely in any mobile browser. Finders can call or message you instantly without installing anything.
    EkTag works on virtually anything — car windshields, bikes, keys, luggage, bags, helmets, laptops, phones, pet collars, school bags, notebooks, and more. We offer windshield stickers, surface stickers, keyring tags, and round tags to suit every item.

    Privacy & Security

    No. Finders reach you through a masked call or message, so your personal number stays completely private. The finder never sees your actual contact details.
    Yes. Finders contact you through a masked channel — your real number is never shown. Only the details you choose to share (like a first name) appear on the scan page.
    Yes. All communication between you and the finder is handled through secure, encrypted channels. We never store or share your personal data with third parties.
    No. The scan page only lets someone send you a message or call — it doesn't reveal your number or allow them to contact anyone else. You can also deactivate a tag anytime if it's lost or stolen.

    Activation & Setup

    Create a free EkTag account, open the EkTag mobile app or website, tap 'Activate Tag', and scan or enter the code printed on your tag. It takes under a minute and your tag is live immediately.
    Yes. Repeat the activation process for each tag. They all live under one account, and you can assign each to a different vehicle, item, or family member.
    Double-check the code on the back of your tag — it must match exactly, including the NX- prefix. Common mix-ups: letter O vs number 0, and letter I vs number 1.
    This tag was activated on another account. If it's yours, log in with that account. If you believe this is a mistake, reach out via our contact page.
    Make sure you're logged into the correct account associated with your order. If the tag isn't showing up, contact our support team — it may need to be assigned to your account manually.

    Products & Features

    Front-glue sticks to the outside of your windshield. Back-glue sticks to the inside — it's mirrored so it reads correctly from outside the car.
    Yes. Our windshield stickers are built to withstand rain, sun, and dust without fading. Surface stickers have a durable glossy finish for everyday use.
    Activate once — the tags work for life. No subscriptions, no renewals for basic features.
    Yes. Each tag in a pack is individually activated and tracked on your dashboard. You can assign each to a different vehicle or item.
    The Starter Pack includes 4 Surface Stickers, 2 Round Tags, and 2 Windshield Stickers (front-glue and back-glue). Perfect for protecting your car, bags, and keys.
    The Family Pack includes 2 Windshield Stickers, 8 Surface Stickers, 1 Keyring Tag, and 4 Round Tags — 15 tags total for complete household coverage.

    Managing Tags

    Yes. Each tag can route to a different phone number or contact, managed from your EkTag dashboard. Route alerts to mum, dad, or any family member separately.
    Yes. Each tag can route alerts to a different phone number from one shared account. Everyone stays in the loop without sharing login credentials.
    You can deactivate a lost tag from your dashboard and order a replacement. Your account and history stay intact.
    Yes. Go to your Owner Dashboard, find the tag, and toggle it off. The QR code will no longer connect to you.
    Yes. Simply toggle it back on from your dashboard. The tag becomes active again instantly.

    Billing & Plans

    The physical tag is a one-time purchase. Basic anonymous contact features (scan, message, call) are free for life. Premium features such as call recording, multiple receiver contacts, and advanced QR customisation are available on optional subscription plans.
    Yes, we offer free shipping on all orders across India. For Singapore, standard shipping rates apply.
    We accept all major credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets via Razorpay. We also accept cash on delivery (COD) in select regions.
    Yes. We offer a 7-day return policy for unused tags in original packaging. Visit our Return Policy page for full details.

    Shipping & Delivery

    Orders are typically delivered within 3–5 business days in India and 5–7 business days in Singapore. You will receive a tracking link once your order ships.
    Yes. Once your order ships, you'll receive an email and SMS with a tracking link. You can also view order status in your account dashboard.
    We currently ship to India and Singapore. More countries coming soon.

    Troubleshooting

    Make sure the QR code is clean and not damaged. Try scanning from a different angle or lighting. If the code is worn out, contact us for a replacement.
    Check that notifications are enabled in your browser settings and your EkTag dashboard. Also ensure your phone number is correctly entered in your tag settings.
    Make sure you're logged into the correct account. If the tag was purchased but never activated, it may need manual assignment by our support team.
    Yes. Go to your Owner Dashboard, select the tag, and update the receiver contact. Changes take effect immediately.
